One of the news which will bring about a consolation to the people suffering with diabetes (sugar) is that they can have an exclusive insurance cover. Two of the insurance companies are planning a specialised health cover for diabetics or sugar patients.  Apollo Munich has already filed a diabetic cover with theInsurance Regulatory and Development Authority ( IRDA), Religare Health Insurance is planning to submit soon.

Insurance companies don't ask if you have donated an organ. The application forms ask if there is a scar of the body and the reason for it. When you say you donated an organ, the application is rejected," said Srinidhi.
